Sydney Opera House

Sydney Harbour Bridge

Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach is the place for you if you enjoy sand, surf, and sun. It has one of the oldest surf life-saving clubs in the world. Bondi beach is visited by both locals and tourists and is a great picnic spot and offers scenic views of the sea in its coastal walks. The other attractions around the beach are the various shops and restaurants, Sunday markets, ocean pools and skate parks.

Daintree National Park

The Daintree National Park belongs to the Eastern Kuku Yalanji aboriginal people. Its natural features are said to hold great spiritual significance for the locals. The park features a granite boulder washed over by gushing water known as the Mossman Gorge. It also has the beautiful white sand beach where the rainforest meets the reef in the Coral Sea known as Cape Tribulation. The park is home to a rich biodiversity of plants and animal species. You can also partake in a jungle safari from the resort town of Port Douglas.

Fraser Island

The Fraser Island on Australia’s east coast is the largest sand island in the world. It houses the beautiful Seventy-Five Mile Beach sprinkled with shipwrecks, The Cathedrals made of colored sandstone, and bubbling rock pools with schools of fishes known as the Champagne Pools. Once you go further inland, you come across lakes and creeks that are placed between sand dunes and tropical forests filled with biodiverse plants and animals.

Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road was built during the Great Depression to offer employment. This 300 kilometres road stretches along Australia’s southeast coast and offers a spectacular view of the ocean. Along the road, one would come across the Port Campbell National Park that has rock formations sculpted by waves and the sea breeze over years. Some of these rock formations are popular like the Twelve Apostles, London Bridge, and Loch Ard Gorge.
